WEDDING REPORT

A Cherry Blossom Wedding for spring in Japan, with love for dear family and guests

A warm spring breeze on a spring day. Just as you both envisioned, a "Cherry Blossom Wedding" typical of Japanese spring. The day of the wedding ceremony starts with the perfect location for photographs.

"A Garden Procession Ceremony" with parents from both sides in the 33,000 square-meter garden swirling with cherry blossoms, "rented out exclusively" for the wedding. Traditional Japanese music fills the air, creating a sense of the sacred among all guests. Eternal vows are exchanged in the presence of many guests. A group photograph with all guests in front of this cherished shrine for a commemorative photo shoot unique to Togo Shrine / Togo Kinenkan.

The reception is held at "Tensho". The spacious atrium at Tensho fuses East and West in a sophisticated atmosphere. The kagamibiraki (sake cask-opening ceremony) is conducted by parents from both sides, followed by a toast with traditional Japanese masu (square cups). The mochi-making event is a huge hit, quickly moving the party to its midpoint.

The bride changes to a wedding dress and the groom to a traditional kilt. The guests enjoyed a time of lively conversation and photo shoots. The gentle warmth of wood, greenery, and sunlight, create a natural atmosphere that is part of the charm of "Tensho". A wedding that cherishes both Japanese tradition and who we are as a couple. Our dream of a "cherry blossom wedding" filled with love for family and guests has come true.
